we swam with a sea turtle yesterday. she was INCREDIBLE.i was stung by a jellyfish...they are angry animals.
totally random but as we were walking across the island this morning ari noticed we were in step with each other and said "we're in sync. like the band" harhar

There are big lizards all over the island. As Janet was writing this post, one walked by. This one is pretty small... I saw one three times bigger on a trail a few days ago. I walked right up on it before I noticed it. It was pretty scary.
Hiking would be awesome. Hopefully, Ari wont literally be walking in circus around me - Waiamea Canyon comes to mind. But I'm going to try to come in June when school's out so I have more than I week to travel around the world, Since it seems like it take two days each way of travel.
ReplyDeleteThat lizard hanging out by the trash cans reminds of scavenging rats. Is that the case? I'm glad you guys upgrading to a nicer chalet, it would be a shame to have a tainted memory of such a beautiful place.
